Course Grading Breakdown
Your grades in this class will fall into one of the following categories. Be aware that some components of your grade are weighted more heavily than others.
Projects/Tests/Quizzes (60%)
•Projects will be completed in class on a regular basis and rubrics will be provided at that time.
•There will be approximately 2 quizzes and 1 test for each chapter that is discussed.
•You will be notified in advance for these items and we will review in class.
Homework (25%)
•Homework will be designed to reinforce the ideas discussed in class and to explore the content on a more individual level. •All assignments should be submitted on the stated due date.
•Any homework turned in after that date will be marked down from receiving full credit.
Class Participation/Preparation (15%)
•Come to class everyday prepared to learn and ask questions when necessary.
•It is required that you keep a notebook to serve as a reference as well as a portfolio.
•This will be checked on a regular basis and must be brought to class every day.
•Participate in class discussions and stay on task.

I am here every morning before school and have planning during Period 1. Do not hesitate to come in if you have questions or need help finishing a project or assignment.
