Introduction to Prezi Software
Prezi is a virtual whiteboard that uses zooming features to transform presentations in a visually dynamic way. It uses movement instead of animations creating a web of information that can be viewed in a non-linear fashion. In a world on never ending PowerPoints, this program offers a slight variation that can have huge impacts in reaching a targeted audience.

Logging in to Prezi
o Go to www.prezi.com and login using the following information:
Create a Prezi Using Templates
o On the main screen click on New Prezi
o Choose or search for a template and then click Use Template.
o You will notice on the side panel, there are frames that resemble PowerPoint slides. These are the different designated areas on the screen where the presentation will zoom in.
o If you click Customize at the top of the screen, a panel will appear on the right where you can change the background or theme colors, if you so desire.
Infusing Effective Media
o To change the Title/Text either click on the frames or directly on the screen to type anywhere it says Click to Add Text. Options will appear to change the color, size, etc.
o Inserting Other Media
Viewing the Presentation
o When you are ready to view your presentation, click the play button at the top of the screen that says Present.
o Click Allow if it asks you to view using the full screen.
o Using the arrows at the bottom of the screen click through your presentation.
o Press Escape to exit the presentation view.
Saving the Presentation
o Click the word Exit at the top right corner of the screen.
o Under the presentation, click where it says Untitled Document and change the title to be your name.
o On this screen, you also have the option to Download or Share your presentation with other users, but you will be able to view your presentation by logging in to Prezi anytime.

- Username: [email protected]
- Password: camp2014
- (It is free if you want to create your own at home!)

Launched in 2010, ThingLink is a platform used for creating an interactive image that comes alive using text, images, movies, music, and more. ThingLink allows you to use an image, from the web or from your computer to add the links and information. You add information by inserting dots (called tags) on the image that will show viewers the content and a link to more information. You will want to plan out the image you wish to use and the content/links that you want to combine. Many publishers and bloggers use ThingLink to share links and boost advertising.

o Your picture should be able to tell a story.
Incorporating Meaningful Media
o Click on your picture where it says Click to add a tag.
o On the following screen, you have the option to include
o When you are done tagging your image, press the green Save button.
o You will now have the option to Share your image or you can view it by logging in to ThingLink anytime.
